ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD BREATHED

​We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures, the Word of God as written in the original languages, Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. (2 Tim 3.16-17) "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"

GOD, THE FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in one God, who revealed Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus promised us a helper (the Spirit of truth) told His disciples that when the helper comes, you will know that I am in my father, and you in Me, and I in you.

(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:20, John 1:1-2)

JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. When Jesus was baptised in water, the Holy Spirit descended upon Him, and a voice from heaven said "This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy."

BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED

We believe that Grace is a gift of God, and that it is by Grace that we are saved through faith and not ourselves or a result of good works. Because of God's mercy and great love for us, we are made alive in Christ, and by Grace we are saved.

(Titus 3:5; Acts 15:11; Ephesians 2:8-10)

BE BORN OF WATER & OF THE SPIRIT

We believe God's directive as exampled by Jesus, is that believers must be Born of Water and of the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. We repent of our sins and take a step of faith and obedience into the waters of baptism with the expectation to receive the Holy Spirit and Speak in tongues. As explained in the scriptures, the Holy Spirit is a guarantee of our inheritance into the Kingdom of God.

HEALING BY THE POWER OF GOD

We believe in prayer for the sick and healing by the power of God. Throughout His ministry, Jesus healed multitudes of people of all manner of sickness and disabilities. Healing is part of the 'Good News' that Jesus proclaimed.

As spirit-filled Disciples of Christ, we have been given the power and authority (in Jesus' name), to pray for the sick and see them healed. Jesus also declared in (John 14:12) that anyone who believes in Him will do the same works as He, and even greater.

(Matthew 4:23; Mark 6:56; James 5:14-15; 3 John 1: 2; 1 Peter 2:24)

JESUS IS GREATER, HE HAS AUTHORITY

We believe an evil spirit cannot enter into a spirit-filled believer, and that 'Deliverance Ministry' is for people who are yet to be born of the spirit. Jesus has supremacy over all creation including the principalities and powers of darkness in this world. Jesus is in us, and He is greater and more powerful than an evil spirit or demon.

Jesus said that on that day (the day when the Holy Spirit would come) you will know that I am in the Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

As disciples of Christ, we have authority (in Jesus' name) to cast out demons and evil spirits, but another step must be taken. That next step is to ensure people are filled with the Holy Spirit, so that the unclean spirit cannot return and take other more wicked spirits with it.
